Priority Level: 🔥 ESSENTIAL - Your website is your home base
Your website is the one place you own completely (social platforms can change algorithms, delete accounts, or disappear). A professional website builds trust, converts visitors, and gives you a destination to send people.
But "professional" doesn't mean complicated. It means your logo isn't blurry, your images are optimised, and your branding is consistent.
Visual Elements
- [ ] Favicon (multiple sizes: 16x16, 32x32, 180x180, 192x192) - the tiny icon in browser tabs. Small detail, but makes you look legit.
- [ ] Logo for header/navigation - usually your horizontal or simplified logo so it fits in the menu bar
- [ ] Logo for footer - often slightly smaller or a different colour variation
- [ ] Hero image or background graphic - the big visual on your homepage. Sets the tone immediately.
- [ ] About page photo - founder or team photo. People buy from people, so show your face.
- [ ] Product/service imagery - high-quality photos of what you sell or do
- [ ] Testimonial graphics or headshots - social proof builds trust
- [ ] Icon set - if using custom icons for features, services, or benefits

Tip: Favicon and logo are non-negotiable. Everything else can start with stock photos or DIY shots and be upgraded later as budget allows. Don't let "perfect images" stop you from launching.
